Title with decorative border and woodcut vignette in red, 32 illustrative woodcut head- or tailpieces, all after Bliss. Red-brown goatskin by Jen Lindsay, dated 1985, the upper cover with an onlaid right-angled triangle of brown goatskin from the natural edge of the same skin as the covering, the longest side running in an irregular diagonal from the top quarter of the outer edge of the cover to the middle of the bottom edge, with a sectioned piece of bone sewn onto the cover and partially concealed beneath the diagonal edge of the onlay, the title blocked in blind at the foot of the spine, black goatskin doublures, black paper endleaves, g.e., cloth box with goatskin lettering-piece on spine, signed on lower doublure with blind-stamped monogram and date.
