Late 19th-century marbled calf by Riviére, spines gilt with green leather lettering pieces, gilt turn-ins, marbled endpapers, gilt edges, Sotheran's bookseller's ticket on pastedowns. Provenance : Alfred de Curzon (booklabel). FINELY BOUND BY RIVIéRE. Brunet I, 1052. BOCCACCIO, Giovanni (1313-1375). Il Decamerone , London [Paris?]: 1768. 3 volumes, 12° (139 x 78mm). Engraved portrait and title by Moreau (a few leaves lightly browned in vol I, a little light spotting vol. II). Contemporary lightly specked calf, triple gilt filet, gilt spines, leather lettering labels, gilt turn-ins and edges (extremities a little worn).
