The second work here, also known as the Clementines, comprises the decretals forming the final part of the Corpus Juris Canonici (and including the important bulla on the poverty of the Franciscans). First work: 112 leaves; second work: 49 leaves (of 50, without final blank). Both works printed in red and black. Red and blue Lombard initials, each work with woodcut printer’s device printed in red (some toning and spotting, a few stains). 19th-century half russia over marbled boards, edges marbled, remains of later manuscript pastedown (spine perished).
