Woodcut device on title, 4 engraved vignettes (occasional light browning, a few leaves stained at margins, a few spots). Contemporary speckled calf, the covers with wide borders of gilt fleur-de-lys enclosing central armorial device (rubbed and scuffed). Provenance : library stamps on front free endpaper and title; early signature of Dauy La Lammerie. FIRST EDITION. Brunet I, 1169; Sommervogel I, 1908. With 6 other books and pamphlets including Bartholomaeus Riccius's Triumphus Jesu Christi Crucifixi (Antwerp, 1608) and Antoine Girard's Les Peintures Sacrées sur la Bible (Paris, 1665, third edition).
