Lot of 2, includes a 3.25" x 6.75" albumen stereoview of a young girl and boy building an arch using the exact Richter's Anchor stone blocks, as accompanies this lot, with imprint of James Cremer Philadelphia; and boxed set of blocks with double layer of red, white and blue stone blocks in various geometric shapes, all in original wooden box with brass corner straps and sliding lid with original chromolithographed illustrated label reading in part Anchor Stone Building Blocks...F.A.D. Richter & Co. London E.C. New York...Pat. Oct. 26th, 1880 with matching label along right margin in German. Includes a 16pp chromolithographed illustrated instruction booklet with patterns of items to build, 15" x 11" x 2" high. Condition: Some wear to chromo label on box and chip to one rail that holds lid in place, with tears to instruction booklet, still a complete set and VG-; stereo with bumped corner, else VG+.
