Title: Broadside Auction Notice for the sale of the estate of Nabby Lang including items from the property of Hon. Meshech Weare Author: ** Place: Rockingham County, NH Publisher: Date: Oct. 17, 1864 Description: Printed broadside, approximately 30x28 cm. (11¾x11"). Broadside advertising the "Administrator’s Sale" of property owned by “Nabby Lang, late of Hampton Falls... deceased,” including various household items, “and many other articles the names of which unknown to this Generation, but which are valuable by reason of their antiquity, and for having been the property of HON. MESHECH WEARE.” Signed in print at the bottom by “Jacob T. Brown, Administrator.” Meshech Weare served as the first President of New Hampshire from 1776 to 1785. Lot Amendments Condition: A few edge tears, small hole near center, some ink show-through from Jacob Brown's signed notation on the back; very good. Item number: 222757
