Lot consist of: (A) Steyr M.95 bolt action carbine with ammo. Made 1920, with "Wn-20/20" stamped on the chamber. Gun was later converted to fire 8x56r, indicated by an "S" stamped on the chamber. Most likely arsenal refurbished post World War II. Import marked on the barrel. Matching serials on the barrel, receiver, front band, bolt and stock (stock has been forced matched). Illegible number on the hand guard. Unnumbered parts appear to be stamped "K" for Steyr. Standard barrel with blade front sight rear leaf adjustable to 2200 meters. Arsenal reapplied blued finish on the metal components. Lacquered wood stock with metal butt plate. Includes 100 rounds (on clips) of Nazi Germany manufactured 8x56R, all in its original cardboard boxes and stored in a .30 caliber metal ammo can. Headstamps look to be "38" and "39". CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its reapplied finish with a few handling marks and scratches. Stock has a few scratches and scrapes as well. Bore is lightly frosted, but retains crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Ammo is all very good, looking to have been stored well. (B) Russian M91/30 Mosin Nagant bolt action rifle. Made 1940 at the Izhevsk arsenal. Typical Russian proofs/acceptance stamps on the chamber. Import marked on the left side of the barrel, under the rear sight block, with an importer serial number on the left side of the receiver. Matching serials on the barrel shank, bolt, trigger guard, and buttplate. Round steel barrel with typical hooded post front sight and rear sight adjustable to 2000 meters. Arsenal reapplied blued finish on the metal components. Arsenal relacquered wood stock as well. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its arsenal reapplied finish with some light wear and scratches. Stock has a few dings, scratches and handling marks. Bore is frosted, but retains crisp rifling. Mechanically fine.
