Standard configuration SKS manufactured in Russia by an unknown manufacturer. Receiver cover was scrubbed at time of arsenal refurbishment, now only bearing the arsenal refurbishment stamp. Left side of receiver is marked "RUSSIA SKS 7.62X39 NHM SAC, CA" followed by the importer applied serial number. Small soviet arsenal proofs are present on various external components. Left side of buttstock bears the Tula arsenal arrow within a star emblem above "1953r". Arsenal matching numbers include the receiver, receiver cover, trigger guard, and stock. Bolt carrier, bolt, and gas cylinder are matching via an electro-penciled applied number. Features include a chrome-lined bore, blade type bayonet, and a solid birch stock. Complete with a Russian canvas web sling, black plastic oiler, and stripper clip. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their arsenal reapplied finish, showing some marks from handling and storage as well as some minor flaking to the finish. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Stock is excellent, showing few minor handling marks.
