Beschreibung:

28" dovetail lump barrels with small steel front bead on a smooth concave tapered game rib. Engraved "Harrisons. Salisbury." Top tube signed "Webley & Scott LTD." Bottom tube signed "Birmingham." Light floral engraving over breech. Forearm lump marked "MADE IN/ENGLAND" Barrel flats with appropriate Birmingham nitro proofs for a 2 - 3/4" 12 gauge. Tubes stamped just ahead of barrel flats with a "(Crown) / B". Diminutive game forearm with Anson style push-button release and point pattern checkering. Exterior of iron engraved with light scroll; release and exterior of iron case colored. Interior of iron stamped with matching serial number. Action flats with British nitro proof and serial number. Boxlock action is nicely case hardened. Bottom metal, trigger guard, opening lever, and automatic safety are blued. Engraved in a scroll pattern with geometrics at borders. Double triggers. Pistol grip stock with case colored metal grip cap engraved en suite action. Wrist checkered in pattern. Silver oval on toeline of a well-marbled piece of walnut that terminates in a blackline spacer rubber recoil pad and a leather cover. Housed in a green foliage colored carrying case. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain virtually all of their bluing with a few minor handling marks. Forearm is good with a number of areas where checkering has been marred, likely from time in the field. Case colors have begun to fade somewhat but are still nicely visible. Action has a couple spots of spotting towards front. Trigger guard and tang very good with some handling marks. Wrist checkering is very good, possibly recut as some of the lines don't line up quite right, with a couple damaged heads. Wood has some minor handling marks. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, left ejector fires slightly earlier than right. A nice English working shotgun.
