This is not an original Trench Gun. "FULL" choke marked barrel has been shortened to 22 inches. A reproduction heat shield with bayonet lug has been added. Matching numbers. Made in 1910. Reproduction buttplate. CONDITION: Metal has a mottled look, mixture of patina and touch up. Markings are clear. Some slight pitting and dings. Wood has dings and handling marks, shows wear. Bore is dirty, has 3 bumps along the bottom from where the heat shield screws go (there are no holes in the barrel). Fine mechanical function.
