London: George Bishop and John Norton 1610. 2° (330 x 210mm). Engraved frontispiece (mounted), printed dedication, 51 engraved maps by William Kip and William Hole after Saxton and Norden (of 57, lacking North Riding, Durham, Lancashire, Westmoreland, Scotland and Ireland), most double-page, 10 engraved illustrations of coins and views. (Occasional light spotting, map of Lincolnshire shaved at lower margin, and upper corner torn away.) Contemporary calf, covers decorated with large gilt arabesques (rebacked and cornered). Provenance : Trinity House (armorial bookplate). FIRST EDITION OF THE HOLLAND TRANSLATION. STC 4509; Skelton 6; Chubb XIX.
