Left side of receiver marked with model, Long Branch manufacturer marking, and 1942 manufacture date. Left side of socket marked with serial number and new serial number. Underside of stock rear of front sight marked with "B/66" inspector marking, Long Branch serial number and additional markings. Grip rear of trigger guard marked with Canadian acceptance stamp, "B/66" proof, and additional cartouche. Condition: Good. Minimal wear to blued finish with some thinning on working surfaces. Stock shows some dents and blemishes consistent with surplus rifles but is otherwise free of major cracks and splits. Bore is good; slightly shiny with visible lands and grooves.
