Château Lafite 1982 Pauillac, 1er Cru ClasséExcellent level, label very slightly soiled, capsule wrinkled and slightly worn65% Cabernet Sauvignon in this vintage. On Christmas Eve 2013, an incredibly rich, spicy, leathery nose, multi-layered and meaty. The taste balances fresh acidity with real maturity and it is just so "thick" and velvety. Enormous tannic structure with irony backbone.
