A RARE PHOTOGRAPHIC PORTRAIT OF CHEKHOV, INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR to patron Mariia Samoilovna Malkiel 'v blagodarnost za teatr katorii ona pastroila' [i.e. 'in gratitude for the theatre which she built'].
