Bernard entitled 'White Cap. Souvenirs d'un Pony' An explanatory card text leaf, in both French and English, precedes the illustrations: 'Mr. Tumble, still one of the "Old Stock" who does not get discouraged to follow during the various hunting-days the pack, even, as it is shown in this book, he has had more than 20 falls in one hunting season alone. Fine Fellow, that Mr. Tumble!'. The humourous tale is written as if by Mr. Tumble's horse, Dick, and the comical watercolours are skilfully executed. (a folder)
