The Wind in the Willows, 5th edition, 1910, black and white frontispiece by Graham Robertson, some scattered spotting, mostly to endpapers and edges, bookplate of Ena Florence Sanderson on front pastedown, and with contemporary inscription to Ena on front free endpaper, top edges gilt, remainder untrimmed, original blue-green cloth gilt, spine faded, but overall in good condition, in First Issue dustjacket with price 6/- to front panel, dustjacket frayed at spine ends (just clipping edge of foliate decoration at head), with 1" tear in folds at top of spine and 1.75" tear in upper fold at foot, 8vo The extremely rare first issue dustjacket in original, unrestored state, identified by the price of 6/- to the upper panel (later issues note the price as 7/6 NET).
