Levels: lot 580 into neck, lot 581 base of neck or better, lot 579; five base of neck, three top, one mid/upper, one mid/low-shoulder Tasting note: palish, luminous; low-keyed at first but opened up fragrantly; lean dry finish but overall very appealing. Good length. Showing well at Cockburn's 'Memories of a Century' tasting in London, May 2002 **** M.B.
