A nice assortment of images of the destruction caused by the 1906 earthquake and fire and the clean-up and reconstruction efforts in the months following, including refugee camps, rubble filled streets, the downtown shops relocated to Van Ness Avenue. etc. Includes several copy photographs during the conflagrations. Lot Amendments Condition: All pages detached from album, photos tipped into paper corners and with a small dot of paste, easily removed, a few already loose.
