COLLECTION OF GEM-SET AND DIAMOND JEWELLERY, PORTUGUESE MID 18TH CENTURY AND LATER Comprising: a demi-parure; the pendant of open work floral and foliate design, set with foil backed pear- and cushion-shaped pink topaz and rose-cut diamonds, together with a pair of pendent earrings en suite, original hinged fittings, mid 18th century; a pendant of open work scroll and floral design, set with pear- and cushion-shaped foil backed citrine and rose-cut diamonds, later brooch fitting, mid 18th century; a watch key with an oval glazed image to each face bordered by cushion-shaped chrysoberyls and a gold bead work surround, late 18th century; together with a pair of ear pendants, each surmount composed of a quatrefoil of circular-cut topaz, suspending a graduated trio of similarly-cut topaz of golden tint, original hinged shepherd's crook hook fittings, early 19th century.
