Contemporary full calf by Riviere & Son, covers with gilt rules at the edges, five raised bands, compartments elaborately tooled in gilt, red title label, gilt inner dentelles, all edges gilt, original pictorial cloth and spine bound-in at the rear. 9 3/8 inches (24 cm). ix, 1 ff. [list of plates], 206 pp., 8pp. [ads], plus eighteen finely hand-colored plates by Henry Alken and/or T.J. Rawlins (including frontispiece).
