Extracted from Acts and Laws of His Majesty's English Colony of Connecticut in New England, in America. The first act caption titled: Acts and laws passed by the General Court or Assembly of His Majesty's English colony of Connecticut in New-England in America: begun, and held at Hartford, on the second Thursday of May, in the twenty fifth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second, of Great-Britain, &c. King. Annoque Domini, 1752, and continuing with acts through May 1768. 20th century cloth. 12 3/8 x 7 inches (32 x 19 cm); pages 263-336. Stamp, a few stray stains. The earliest law matching Evans 6830; Together with [MILITIA]. Acts and laws passed by the General Court or Assembly of His Majesty's English colony of Connecticut ... October ... 1756. [New London: Timothy Green, n.d.]. 20th century cloth. Pages 307-312, this being an act forming and regulating the militia for the "Encouragement of military skill for the better defense of this colony." Repairs, stamped. Evans, 7639; And a volume of four acts from 1762, including one devoted to protecting soldiers from arrest. The lot containing three volumes. C The New York City Bar Association
