Ploos van Amstel, continué et portée au nombre de Cent Morceaux, Avec des Renseignemens historiques et detaillés sur ces Maîtres et sur leurs Ouvrages... the book, published by C. Josi, London; Artaria and Fontaine, Mannheim; and Van Cleef, The Hague and Amsterdam, 1821, with the certification dated 1 January 1827, the texts describing the works of the artists included, with introduction and etched frontispiece portraying Ploos van Amstel, with conclusion and lists of artists and prints, and including 84 (of 104 listed) etchings in the manière de crayon , partly printed in colours, and with Ploos van Amstel's coat of arms (Laurentius, Niemeijer and Ploos van Amstel 55 or a copy) on the reverse, some with folds or minor tears, most laid down on thick laid paper interleaves, 84 prints included in the following order (all final states if any, where no reference numbers for L.N.P. are given these are not recorded): A violinplayer in a village, after A. van Ostade (L.N.P. 17); Farmers by a fireplace, after A. van Ostade (L.N.P. 59); The pig killers, after J.
