Translation reads: CréditLyonnais. Subscribe to the 4th National Loan. Measures: 47 x 30.5 in. Condition: linen backed with some toning of the paper and two small pieces missing from the corners. Falter, Marcel. "Emprunt National. Société Générale. Pour le suprême effort". Poster of a World War I soldier choking a large black eagle, most likely the imperial eagle of Germany. Translation reads: National Loan. Société Générale. For the greatest effort. Paris: Imp. Chaix, 1918. Measures: 31 x 47 in.
