Curiosa coppia di statuette in porcellana blanc de Chine, raffiguranti un uomo e una donna su delle rocce, a torso nudo, con i capelli rivolti all'indietro. Cina, manifattura di Dehua (Fujian), fine sec. XVII. (difetti e restauri) (h cm 22) Una coppia identica è pubblicata in D. HOWARD, J. AYERS, China for the West, Chinese Porcelain & other Decorative Arts for Export Illustrated from the Mottadeh Collection, London, Sotehby Parke Bernet, 1978, p. 93 n. 54. Cfr. anche W. R. Sargent Treasures of Chinese Export Ceramics from the Peabody Essex Museum, Salem, Peabody Essex Museum, 2012, p. 103. Two Blanc-de-Chine statuettes of a man and a woman with a bare chest standing on a rock. China, manufacture of Dehua (Fujian), late 17th century. (defects and restorations) An identical pair is published in D. HOWARD, J. AYERS, China for the West, Chinese Porcelain & other Decorative Arts for Export Illustrated from the Mottadeh Collection, London, Sotehby Parke Bernet, 1978, p. 93 n. 54. The pair was mentioned in Dresda's inventory in 1721 and is dated 17th -18th century
