The Seventeenth Volume... [Cambridge, Massachusetts: 1926]. First and only edition, one of 500 copies, the example out of series. Full brown publisher's (?) morocco (probably from one of the later Lauriat issues). 12 3/4 x 9 3/8 inches (32.5 x 24 cm); xii, 249 pp., with all 74 photogravures with protective tissues. Light wear, one plate with a very nominal marginal stain, in all a fresh copy. This is the text volume for the Teva and Zuni tribes of Curtis's extraordinary attempt to document Native America culture through photography and ethnographic text. C Estate of John Klebanoff
