FIRST EDITION bound in standard green cloth in recognition that it contained Darwin's work, longer in fact than Krause's own contribution on 'The Scientific Works of Erasmus Darwin'. This copy contains the cut out SIGNATURE OF CHARLES DARWIN on the front pastedown; and below it the signature of G.H. Darwin, April 1880. Freeman 1319. (5)
