Wherein Several Secrets of Nature are Brought to Light, and some Antiquities Hitherto kept in Darkness Discovered..., Englished by J. S. Doctor of Physick, 1675, title page, folding map present but detached and laid on later paper, lacking folding plate, later mottled sheep with modern morocco gilt labels to spine, very slight wear to extremities, 12mo, together with The Spectator, Volumes, 1 & 3 - 9, published J. & R. Tonson and S. Draper, 1710 - 1711, engraved frontispiece to each volume, 19th century speckled calf, rebacked but retaining original gilt decorated spines, some wear to spines and extremities, 8vo, with Parley (Peter), Tales about America and Australia, Tales abount Asia and Africa [and] Tales about Europe, circa 1860, numerous illustrations to text throughout, five engraved maps, matching publisher's red cloth gilt, boards a little stained, with another copy of Tales about America and Australia, 12mo, with three early 20th century atlases, various sizes and condition (16)
