English, early 19th century. Four white bisque porcelain figures by Derby, each depicting a boy or girl with flowers and plants likely representing the four seasons, each impressed with crown over D mark and No. 123 / small 4 on underside; PLUS, one white bisque figure by Mennecy (French, early 19th century) depicting a seated boy and girl, impressed D.V. on underside; each approx. ht. 7.5, wd. 3, dp. 3 in. Condition: Derby figures: Girl with wheat: piece broken off (included), repair to other spots on wheat. Crack visible between wheat stalks and girl. Repair to piece of tree stump behind girl. Other small firing cracks. A few tiny chips to protruding pieces. Girl with grapes: Repair/crack visible around back support section, and a few small chips to leaves around base. Boy with canteen and sporran: Repair/crack visible around back tree stump/seat, and a bit visible on front. Piece likely missing from hands. Chips to leaves around base, and small rattle audible from interior. Boy holding branches on shoulder: Repair crack visible around upper legs, and where body meets trunk on back. Appears to be repair to raised arm. Repair to flora on left side of trunk. Some small chips to protruding pieces. Mennecy figure: Repair/crack visible to boy's hat, one finger missing on each hand, section of flute missing, and repair/crack visible on one leg. Chip to girls' hat on back. Crack visible on support between two figures. Cracks on underside that extend into interior of figure.
