The Victoria Edition, one of 1500 copies on ordinary paper, published to honor the fiftieth anniversary of the original edition of Pickwick Papers , issued the year of Queen Victoria's ascension to the throne (1837), inserted facsimile parts wrapper and 50 inserted plates as issued, EXTRA-ILLUSTRATED WITH THE INSERTION OF 27 ORIGINAL WATERCOLOR DRAWINGS BY F.W. PAILTHORPE illustrating scenes from the novel. (2)
