II in Greek, woodcut publisher's device of flying Pegasus on titles and verso of final leaf to each vol., small woodcut initials (occasional light browning or spotting), later 18th-century russia, covers with single gilt fillet border, simple gilt spine in seven compartments with raised bands, lettering in two (rubbed), gilt edges. [Adams H625] A FINE COPY WITH WIDE MARGINS. Provenance : Sir John Thorold, Syston Park (armorial bookplate).
