A good copy of the bird's eye view depicting the city of Florence centered on the Arno river, with the mountains in the background, probably by Duchetti. With the coats of arms of Florence and the Medici family and a numbered key at the bottom identifying 60 places. The map is similar to the Forlani version printed around 1580. (Misura del foglio 405 x 537mm). Engraved map (310 x 435mm). (Lightly browned, expertly glued on passepartout with adhesive paper tape); with modern frame.
