goauche on board, signed and dated '16 mounted, framed and under glass image size 25cm x 14cm, overall size 58cm x 51cm Note: Edward H Chisnall is a well-known artist, author and broadcaster who was born in Glasgow in 1942. He works from a "haunted studio" in his home town of Glasgow. His written works include Bell in the Tree: The Glasgow Story which was also broadcast as a series three times a day, every day of the week throughout 1990 by Radio Clyde. His paintings rarely appear at auction.
