Egyptian Revival 18 Karat Gold, Enamel and Stone Scarab Choker Necklace, Maurice Robin et Cie, France, Circa 1900 The openwork links composed of cobra and winged vulture motifs spaced by four ancient glazed steatite scarabs and one hardstone scarab dating from the New Kingdom (1550-1070 B.C.) alternating with five Egyptian Revival gold scarabs, enhanced throughout with applied blue enamel and blue and green plique-à-jour enamel, length 14 inches, maker's mark for Maurice Robin et Cie, French assay marks.
