Eight (8vo) volumes bound in cloth, some reprints, with a first edition (later issue) copy of The Beautiful and the Damned. Scribner's Magazine: Published Monthly with Illustrations, Volume LXVII January-June. Charles Scribner's Sons, 1920. Later brown cloth library binding lettered on spine in gilt. First appearance of short stories The Cut Glass Bowl and The Four Fists. (Rubbing at edges, bump to top front corner; hinges cracked, tear and institutional stamp to front endpapers; good to very good). The Beautiful and the Damned. Scribners, 1922. First Edition, later state with publisher's seal on copyright page. (Rubbing at spine ends and corners, lettering fading a bit, repaired rear hinge, pages toned a bit; about very good). The Crack-up edited by Edmund Wilson. New Directions, 1945. Beige cloth lettered in brown, jacket. First edition, later printing (Jacket chipped along spine and at edges, cloth somewhat sunned; previous owner's name on front free endpaper; very good). This Side of Paradise. Charles Scribner's Sons, 1948. Light purple cloth, jacket. (Price-clipped jacket chipped and torn at spine head and edges; mild toning to edges; very good). Afternoon of an Author. Charles Scribner's Sons, 1957. Cloth lettered in gilt. First Edition, second printing. (Soiling and scuffing to cloth, lettering fading a bit; occasional stains; about very good). Six Tales of the Jazz Age and Other Stories. Charles Scribner's Sons, 1960. Maroon cloth lettered in gilt, jacket. (Light edgewear with some creasing to the back panel; lettering fading, mild sunning to cloth, very good or better). The Pat Hobby Stories with an introduction by Arnold Gingrich. Charles Scribner's Sons, 1962. Blue cloth lettered in gilt, jacket. Presentation copy from Gingrich to Elliott Plowe. (Foxing to jacket along edges; lettering fading a bit, mild toning to edges; very good). The Price Was High. Harcourt, Brace, Jovanovich, 1979. Light brown cloth lettered in gilt, jacket.
