Provenance: Descended Directly in the Family of Brevet Brigadier General James H. Kidd Condition: Not removed from frame for examination. Appears to have been reframed ca late 20th century. Wood and textile relics appear very good. Letter appears to have been pasted to cardboard backing and exhibits considerable acid burn and/or paste bleed, though it remains clearly legible.
