Slave values range from as high as $1000 for young African American males to as low as $40 for two slaves listed as age not known, undoubtedly quite elderly. The elderly slaves are listed lower than the horses in value. Total value of the property listed at $21,731.50, with land listed at $6120.00. The last page is list of notes & accounts belonging to Estate of Joseph Houston 9 August 1833. Condition: Normal folds, VG+.
