Folio, old vellum, defective, lacking backstrip; partially disbound with some leaves loose, title-page with margins very frayed, with several large pieces missing (not affecting text), gutter margins on title and a few other leaves reinforced on verso, some marginal fraying to first few leaves, approximately the first hundred leaves with dampstaining and discoloration (mostly marginal, but affecting diagrams and some text), some gutter margins with minor worming (occasionally affecting some letters), upper and lower margins of final 12 leaves dampstained (heaviest on last leaf of text); cloth folding case.
