H 72 cm. Perruque contemporaine blanche bouclée en astrakan. Porte un superbe costume ancien en soie bicolore restauré et chapeau ancien assorti, dessous et souliers anciens. La dernière période de l'entreprise fondée par Léon Casimir BRU fut placée sous la direction de Paul GIRARD, d'abord le père puis le fils, portant le même prénom et ceci après la prise en main de l'entreprise laissée par Henri CHEVROT qui avait succédé à Léon Casimir BRU. Durant ces premières années, ce ne sera que la continuité de son prédécesseur, d'oû la présence de modèles typiques qui y font penser. Les visages ne se modifient pas encore. En revanche d' importantes modifications seront prises par Paul GIRARD le fils qui entrera en scène en 1894, avec comme principale modification, le changement de signature; BRU Jeune devenant BRU Jeune R, la décoration des visages va alors progressivement se modifier par une accentuation du maquillage dans l'air du temps d'alors.... La nouveauté principale qu'apportera Paul GIRARD père dans l'entreprise sera d'employer des corps articulés de bébés dans le but d'abandonner les corps en peau dont le coût de revient devenait exorbitant.
