R.N.A.S.); Coronation 1911, City of London Police (P.C., G. H. Yull.) edge bruising, otherwise good very fine Coronation 1911, Metropolitan Police (P.C., W. Yull.) good very fine (4) £120-£160 Footnote George Horace Yull was born in Romford, Essex, on 10 June 1886, and served as a Police Constable with the City of London Police. He enlisted in the Royal Naval Air Service on 17 January 1916 for the duration of hostilities, and served at H.M.S. President II, being advanced Leading Mechanic on 30 April 1917, and transferring to the Royal Air Force on its formation on 1 April 1918. William Ernest Yull, the brother of George Horace Yull, was born in Romford, Essex, and joined the Metropolitan Police on 20 July 1908. His final posting was to ‘N’ Division, and he retired as a Police Constable on 23 July 1933. Sold with copied research.
