Lot of 12 views related to Abraham Lincoln including scarce B.W. Kilburn interior of the room where he died in the Peterson Boarding House across the street from Ford's Theater. The view was made in 1892. Also there are 10 Keystone View Co. views including #X229666 non-stereoscopic copy of the portrait by Samuel M. Fassett, Oct 1859; 2 of Cabin where he was born, #V16741 pre-1916 of the cabin before it was enclosed and #16741 of the cabin inside the "Greek Temple" as it looks today. #18335 Marshall Joffre and the French War Commission at the Tomb in Springfield; #18431 his home in Springfield (plus duplicate in lesser condition); #29359 Ford Theater, Washington in 1920s with a "Esso Extra Power" sign on the building next door with a gasoline station; 3 views of the Lincoln Memorial including #32242 close of the Statue; #33532 as seen from top of Washington Monument #33540 overall view showing scaffolding as it nears completion; and finally C.H. Graves (Universal Photo Art) #6609 memorial view showing portraits of Martyred Presidents Lincoln, Garfield and McKinley with floral decoration. First on buff and others on gray curved mounts. (3 with penned notation on versos). Provenance: The Ed Burchard Stereoview Collection Condition: Overall bright and clear. Kilburn view with minor dust soil to mount; duplicate Keystone view with worn corners. Lincoln statue view with one bumped mount corner (images fine) and Graves view with waterstain on verso.
