Ferdinand Engelmüller – In 1889 he was accepted without passing any examination into an Art school of Julius Mařák in Prague. There he remained until 1894. His first painting was shown at an annual exhibition in Prague in 1891. He was one of the co-founders of Art group Mánes and became its speaker. In 1897 he started his own Art school that produced over the years painter such as Ot. Nejedlý, Jar. Šetelík, Ot. Štáfl, Ant. Porket and many others. This school was accredited in 1920 as an official preparation school for Academy of Art in Prague. In 1898 he walked away from Manes and became a member of a J U V in Prague where he also showed his works. His paintings are in all major Czech collections and galleries. Ausrufpreis: 29 000
