12mo, leather-covered album with gilt Autographs on front. This is the Property of Charles Ferguson in childish hand on ffep. Most items have been glued to pages, but a few are loose. The album contains 35 autographed cards, clipped signatures,ALs and TLs including the following: autographed cards of Calvin Coolidge; Herbert Hoover; Charles Lindbergh; Mark Twain; John Pershing; W.T. Sherman; clips of Frederic Remington Franklin D. Roosevelt (on NY Executive Mansion card); (2)Charles Curtin on Senate Chamber Pass; Albert Wiggin on Chase National Bank card; Antarctic explorers Robert Bartlett; TLs from R.E. Bryd, with manuscript note; and Lincoln Ellsworth (plus a 1931 TLS from Ellsworth; and Lowell Thomas (on a U.S. 1c postcard); 2 ALs from Charles Hughes as a Supreme Court Justice written on stationary of the Mansion House on Fisher's Island, plus an interesteing assortment of others including Bata ibn loBagola (African Jew converted to Christianity), Gene Tunney (boxer). Condition: Other than most being tipped into the book, most are in very good condition. Adhesive seems not to have affected most of the paper.
