(7½x4¼") or reverse, affixed along left edge to trimmed album leaf, otherwise unmounted. Signed in the negative and numbered. Includes: El Capitan. #469. * The Three Brothers. #7808. * The Three Brothers from a different angle. #7809. * A massive cliff towering over the Merced River. #366. * Two spires shot from the valley floor. #416. George Fiske (1835-1918) was Yosemite’s first resident photographer, active primarily in the late 19th century. He learned his craft working with Charles Weed, who produced the first photographs of Yosemite, and later with Carleton E. Watkins and Eadweard Muybridge Lot Amendments Condition: A few with slight fading, near fine to fine. Item number: 224226
