FIVE NOVELTY WALKING STICKS LATE 19TH/ EARLY 20TH CENTURY Comprising: extending ivory opera glass mounted on a cane; a silver skull with moving jaw and hinged compartment on an ebonised cane; a boar's tusk carved as a dogs head with glass eyes emerging from a handle with silver band, mark 'C.W'; an ivory handled malacca cane, the silver band with presentation inscription, mark 'P.B', handle inscribed ' JFL'; and a silver handle modelled as an eagle head eating a branch of berries IMPORTANT NOTICE ON LOTS CONTAINING IVORY: The USA has recently changed its policy on the import of property containing elephant ivory. Only Asian Elephant ivory may be imported into the USA, and imports must be accompanied by DNA analysis and confirmation the object is more than 100 years old. Buyers will be responsible for the costs of obtaining any DNA analysis or other report required in connection with their proposed import into the USA.
