FLOWN FLIGHT PLAN PAGE]. Apollo 11 Final Flight Plan. NASA/MSC, 1 July 1969. A single sheet approx. 8 x 10.5 in. of page 3-67 and 3-68 from the flight plan flown on the mission with flight notes by Michael Collins The page is from the detailed timeline section and covers hours 100 and 101 of the mission. At the beginning this period Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were in the Lunar Module Eagle and Michael Collins was alone in the Command Module Columbia but still connected in the docked configuration on the far side of the moon out of radio contact. At approximately 100 hours 15 minutes, Eagle undocked from Columbia and after contact was established with mission control, Armstrong radioed: "The Eagle has wings!" At 100 hrs 40 minutes, Armstrong began the separation maneuver to begin the descent for the first lunar landing which occurred approximately 2 hours later. This page represents the first phase that no other mission to date had ever done, a complete descent to the lunar surface. Flight notes by Collins include: "Receive only B data", "Doff helmet & gloves", and "Conf(igure) for CSM voice relay" on page 3-67 and "Sextant and VHF tracking of LM" on page 3-67. INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY BUZZ ALDRIN on page 3-67: "This page was flown to the Moon aboard Apollo XI, Buzz Aldrin". [With:] Typed letter signed by Buzz Aldrin. (2)
