Some blistering to paint on subject's left cheek and forehead. Professionally restored in 2000 by Chicago Conservation Center, in the form of relining, cleaning and overpainting (visible under UV inspection). Frame intact, having some minor chips to gilt and tight splits. Some minor areas of gesso exposed. Carved wood. Additional images available upon request.
