(44.5 x 48.5 cm) framed. Condition: Paint losses, retouch. N.B. The lot is accompanied by correspondence from Fred Meijer, Curator, Department of Old Netherlandish Painting, Riksbureau voor Kunsthistorische Documentatie (RKD) dated October 9, 2003, and from Dr. Margret Klinge of Dusseldorf, Germany dated December 5, 2003, attributing the work at hand to a follower of David Teniers the Younger. There is also a dendrochronological analysis of the panel made by Prof. Dr. Peter Klein from the University of Hamburg in 2006 indicating a date of 1647 onwards for the support.
