(8 5/8 x 5 1/2 x 1 1/4in.), contemporary straight-grained purple morocco, covers with ornamental blindtooled border around a large gilt-stamped panel with a large gilt lyre in the center; spine in five compartments with four raised bands, gilt lettered in one compartment, an ornamental panel with lyre in the rest, board edges gilt, blue paper endleaves g.e. with DOUBLE FORE-EDGE PAINTING OF AN ANGLING AND A COACHING SCENE, slight wear to edges, corners and upper joint, some foxing and a few stains. 5 engraved plates by Charles Heath after Richard Westall including engraved title.
