1) The Book of Common Prayer and Administration of The Sacraments and other Ceremonies of the Church. Cambridge: J. Smith 1830. 12mo (140 x 75 mm). Contemporary red morroco, elaborately tooled in blind with Gothic religious motifs including the Crucifixion on the spine, a.e.g. Condition : rebacked preserving original spine, endpapers renewed; a few folded pages at corners. Provenance : Mrs. D. Spilsbury (contemporary ownership signature to ffee and through descent in the family); Msgr. Francis J. Weber (bookplate). with a fore-edge painting of Venice from the canal. 2) The Book of Common Prayer and administration of The Sacraments, and other Rites . Oxford: The University Press, 1850. 12mo (175 x 100 mm). Additional engraved title and 7 plates. Contemporary full dark purple morocco, stamped in gilt, a.e.g. Condition : light spotting to plates, minor foxing; lightly worn; scattered foxing and browning. Provenance: Lucy Elizabeth Loveday (contemporary ownership signature). fore-edge painting of coaching scene on the Bath Road.
