Four medals to Major George Arthur Campbell Taylor, Royal West Surrey Regiment, Indian Army and Royal Warwickshire Regiment: China 1900, no clasp (Captn: G. A. C. Taylor 3d Mad: Lt. Infy), engraved in running script, nearly extremely fine; 1914-15 Star (MAJOR G.A.C. TAYLOR. R. WAR. R.); British War and Victory Medals (MAJOR G.A.C. TAYLOR.), the last three good very fine or better; mounted for wearing and accompanied by a mounted group of corresponding dress miniatures. Born Canada 26/01/1869; attended the Royal Military College at Sandhurst; 2nd Lieutenant R.W. Surrey Regiment 21/09/89; Lieutenant 11/03/91; admitted Indian Staff Corps as Lieutenant 16/10/93 but with seniority from 11/03/91; Captain 21/09/1900; Major 21/09/07; China Medal confirmed in Hart's 1910; retires from Indian Army 01/12/12; Major Royal West Surrey Regiment 05/08/14; entitled to Silver War Badge.
